Workers Compensation Claims Assistant I
Location: Glendale, CA
Salary: $18.26 – $22.11 an hour
Job Description:
We are looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Assistant I to join our team in Glendale, CA. The Claims Assistant I will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Workers Compensation Claims department. This position will be responsible for processing and maintaining claims files, entering data into the system, and providing customer service to claimants.
Responsibilities:
• Process and maintain claims files, including entering data into the system
• Provide customer service to claimants, including answering questions and providing information
• Assist with the investigation of claims
• Prepare and submit reports as needed
• Assist with the preparation of documents for hearings
• Maintain accurate records and files
• Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a claims processing role
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation laws and regulations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
