Job Title: Animal Care Attendant

Location: Westlake Village, CA

Salary: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour

The Barkley Pet Hotel and Day Spa is looking for an experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team. The Animal Care Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional care for our guests, ensuring their safety and comfort while they are in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests and their owners

• Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests

• Monitor the health and well-being of all guests

• Provide basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian

• Clean and maintain the facility, including kennels, cages, and play areas

• Monitor and document food and water intake

• Monitor and document guest behavior

• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures

• Assist with training and socialization of guests

• Assist with special events and promotions

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience working with animals preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to follow instructions and take direction

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Must be able to pass a background check
