Substitute Food Service Worker

Location: Hawthorne, CA

Pay: $17.29/hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a Substitute Food Service Worker to join our team in Hawthorne, CA. The Substitute Food Service Worker will be responsible for providing food service support to the school district. This position will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, and assisting with other food service duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for providing excellent customer service. The Substitute Food Service Worker must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established guidelines

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces

• Assist with other food service duties as needed

• Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in food service

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent customer service skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
