Specimen Technician I

Location: West Hills, CA

Pay: $19.55 – $27.65 an hour

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Specimen Technician I to join our team in West Hills. The Specimen Technician I will be responsible for collecting, processing, and distributing specimens for laboratory testing. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing

• Label and store specimens according to established protocols

• Ensure specimens are handled and stored properly

• Maintain accurate records of specimens collected

• Monitor and restock supplies as needed

• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• Assist with other laboratory duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred

• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
