Recycling Education Representative – Sun Valley
Job Summary
The Recycling Education Representative is responsible for providing educational outreach and support to the Sun Valley community in order to promote and increase recycling and waste reduction. This position will work with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to provide educational materials and resources to help increase recycling and waste reduction.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement educational programs and materials to promote recycling and waste reduction in the Sun Valley community.
• Work with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to provide educational materials and resources to help increase recycling and waste reduction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to promote recycling and waste reduction.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and materials.
• Provide technical assistance to local businesses, schools, and other organizations to help them increase their recycling and waste reduction efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase public awareness of recycling and waste reduction.
• Participate in community events to promote recycling and waste reduction.
• Prepare reports and presentations on recycling and waste reduction.
• Maintain records of educational programs and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, education, or related field.
• Knowledge of recycling and waste reduction practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Salary
$64,170 – $80,155 per year.
