Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Public Works Inspector to join our team in Chino, CA. The Public Works Inspector will be responsible for inspecting public works projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect public works projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

• Monitor construction progress and document any discrepancies.

• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed.

• Prepare reports and documentation of inspections.

• Maintain records of inspections and other related activities.

• Provide technical assistance to contractors and other personnel.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience in public works inspection.

• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
