Produce Clerk

Location: Baldwin Park, CA

Pay: $16.50 – $18.50 an hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a Produce Clerk to join our team in Baldwin Park. The Produce Clerk will be responsible for stocking, organizing, and maintaining the produce department. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for fresh produce.

Responsibilities:

• Stock and organize the produce department

• Ensure that all produce is fresh and of the highest quality

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist customers with selecting and purchasing produce

• Ensure that all produce is properly labeled and priced

• Rotate stock to ensure freshness

• Monitor inventory levels and order produce as needed

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a produce department preferred

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of produce and food safety guidelines
