Location: Northridge, CA

Salary: $3,096 – $4,300 a month

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Police Dispatcher to join our team in Northridge, CA. The Police Dispatcher will be responsible for receiving and dispatching calls for service from the public, police officers, and other law enforcement agencies. The Police Dispatcher will also be responsible for providing information and assistance to the public, police officers, and other law enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and dispatch calls for service from the public, police officers, and other law enforcement agencies.

• Provide information and assistance to the public, police officers, and other law enforcement agencies.

• Monitor and operate radio systems and other communication equipment.

• Maintain records of calls for service and other related information.

• Monitor alarm systems and other security systems.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

• Knowledge of local geography and streets.

• Ability to type quickly and accurately.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
