Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team in Pasadena. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processing and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain payroll records and files
• Prepare and submit payroll reports
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
• Reconcile payroll accounts
• Assist with other payroll-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing
• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software
