Position: Patient Service Representative
Location: Arcadia, CA
Salary: $18.50 – $27.75 an hour
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Patient Service Representative to join our team in Arcadia, CA. The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and their families, as well as providing administrative support to the medical staff.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Schedule patient appointments and follow up with patients to ensure their appointments are kept
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
• Collect patient payments and process payments accurately
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all data entered
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies is a plus
