Position: Parent Specialist
Location: Baldwin Park, CA
Salary: $22.41 – $25.95 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Parent Specialist to join our team in Baldwin Park, CA. The Parent Specialist will provide support to families and children in the community by providing resources, education, and guidance. The Parent Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities that promote positive parenting and family engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement programs and activities that promote positive parenting and family engagement.
• Provide resources, education, and guidance to families and children in the community.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on parenting and family engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• At least two years of experience working with families and children.
• Knowledge of parenting and family engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
