Optometric Assistant
Location: Baldwin Park, CA
Pay: $25.51 – $28.26 an hour
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Optometric Assistant to join our team in Baldwin Park. The Optometric Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients, as well as assisting the optometrist with patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
• Assist the optometrist with patient care, including taking patient histories, performing vision tests, and helping with contact lens fittings
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all data
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as an Optometric Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of optometric terminology and procedures
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
