Salary: $46,750 – $63,250
Job Description:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Transportation Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Sylmar, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, as well as a strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
The Mid-Level Transportation Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for the following:
• Coordinating and scheduling shipments of goods and materials.
• Ensuring that all shipments are properly documented and tracked.
• Ensuring that all shipments are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of all shipments.
• Working with carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Working with customers to ensure satisfaction with shipments.
• Investigating and resolving any issues related to shipments.
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
