Medical Receptionist
Location: Redondo Beach, CA
Pay: $16.00 – $27.31 an hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team in Redondo Beach. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage
• Collect payments and process insurance claims
• Maintain patient records and update information as needed
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
