Local 174 Mail Clerk
Location: Culver City, CA
Pay: $15.69 – $24.03 an hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Local 174 Mail Clerk to join our team. The Mail Clerk will be responsible for sorting, delivering, and collecting mail and packages for our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Sort incoming mail and packages according to established procedures
• Deliver mail and packages to designated locations
• Collect outgoing mail and packages from designated locations
• Ensure all mail and packages are properly labeled and addressed
• Maintain accurate records of all mail and packages
• Monitor mailroom supplies and order new supplies as needed
• Assist with other mailroom duties as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a mailroom or similar role
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
• Knowledge of mailroom procedures and regulations
