LAB ASSISTANT NON LICENSED – MICROBIOLOGY

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Salary: $21.00 – $32.29 an hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a Lab Assistant Non Licensed – Microbiology to join our team in Newport Beach. The Lab Assistant Non Licensed – Microbiology will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in the Microbiology department. The successful candidate will be able to accurately and efficiently perform tests and procedures, as well as maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in the Microbiology department

• Follow established laboratory protocols and procedures

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated

• Assist in the training of new laboratory personnel

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred

• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
