Housing Custodial Assistant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Housing Custodial Assistant to join our team in Pasadena. The Housing Custodial Assistant will be responsible for providing custodial services to our housing facilities. This includes cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the common areas of the housing facilities. The Housing Custodial Assistant will also be responsible for performing minor maintenance tasks and responding to tenant requests.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize common areas of the housing facilities, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators

• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor plumbing issues

• Respond to tenant requests in a timely manner

• Ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Ability to pass a background check
