Escrow Officer/Escrow Assistant
Job Summary:
The Escrow Officer/Escrow Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Escrow Department. This position is responsible for ensuring that all escrow transactions are handled in accordance with industry standards and regulations. The Escrow Officer/Escrow Assistant will be responsible for preparing and processing escrow documents, maintaining escrow accounts, and providing customer service to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process escrow documents, including deeds, mortgages, and other related documents.
• Maintain escrow accounts and ensure that all funds are properly accounted for.
• Ensure that all escrow transactions are handled in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide customer service to clients, including answering questions and resolving any issues.
• Monitor escrow accounts and ensure that all funds are properly disbursed.
• Prepare and submit reports to management regarding escrow transactions.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an escrow office or related field
• Knowledge of escrow regulations and industry standards
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
