Job Description:

We are seeking an Emergency Services Dispatcher Trainee to join our team in Redondo Beach. The Emergency Services Dispatcher Trainee will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching appropriate personnel and resources, and providing support to first responders.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service

• Dispatch appropriate personnel and resources to calls for service

• Monitor and update status of personnel and resources

• Maintain accurate records of calls for service

• Provide support to first responders

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
