Director of Veterans Services

The Director of Veterans Services is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Veterans Services team in Riverside. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the highest quality of services and support. The Director will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the best possible services and support.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the highest quality of services and support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the best possible services and support.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and programs for veterans in Riverside.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the best possible services and support.
• Develop and manage budgets for veterans services in Riverside.
• Develop and implement outreach and education programs for veterans in Riverside.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure that veterans in Riverside have access to the best possible resources and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and other stakeholders to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the best possible services and support.
• Represent the organization at local, state, and federal meetings and events related to veterans services.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure that veterans in Riverside receive the best possible services and support.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of veterans services and programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
