Job Description

We are looking for a Custodian I to join our team in Hawthorne. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas of the facility

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and wax floors
• Dust and polish furniture
• Empty trash cans and replace liners
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and break areas
• Clean and sanitize stairwells and elevators
• Clean and sanitize all public areas
• Clean and sanitize all equipment
• Maintain janitorial supplies and equipment
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance
• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours

Compensation:

This position pays $4,031 per month.
