Crate Yard Worker

Location: Paramount, CA

Pay: $19.68 – $28.11 per hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a Crate Yard Worker to join our team in Paramount, CA. The Crate Yard Worker will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the crate yard. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be able to lift and move heavy objects.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload crates from trucks and trailers

• Sort and organize crates according to size and type

• Inspect crates for damage and report any issues to the supervisor

• Move crates to designated areas in the yard

• Ensure that the yard is kept clean and organized

• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• Assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of basic math and measurements

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
