Job Title: College Event and Venue Coordinator
Location: Van Nuys, CA
Salary: $5,961 – $7,384 per month
Job Summary:
The College Event and Venue Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating college events and venues in Van Nuys, CA. The Coordinator will be responsible for researching and selecting venues, negotiating contracts, and managing event logistics. The Coordinator will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Research and select venues for college events in Van Nuys, CA.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and sponsors.
• Manage event logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and staffing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor event progress and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit reports on event progress and outcomes.
• Provide support to event attendees and staff.
• Assist with marketing and promotion of events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, or related field.
• At least two years of experience in event planning and venue coordination.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
