Claims Specialist – Remote in Multiple Locations in Los Angeles

We are looking for a Claims Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles. This position is remote and will require the ability to work from multiple locations.

The Claims Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing insurance claims. This includes reviewing and verifying claim information, determining coverage eligibility, and ensuring that claims are processed in a timely and accurate manner. The Claims Specialist will also be responsible for providing customer service to policyholders and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks is also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify claim information to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Determine coverage eligibility and process claims in a timely and accurate manner

• Provide customer service to policyholders and other stakeholders

• Maintain accurate records of all claims

• Monitor and track claim status

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to claims

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

• Assist with other duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in insurance claims processing

• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work remotely from multiple locations

Compensation:

This position pays $16.00 – $31.44 an hour.
