Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Career Guidance Specialist to join our team in Torrance, CA. The Career Guidance Specialist will provide career guidance and support to individuals seeking to transition into new careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing career counseling, job search assistance, and other career-related services to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide career guidance and support to individuals seeking to transition into new careers.

• Develop and implement career plans for clients.

• Assist clients in identifying and exploring career options.

• Provide job search assistance, including resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies.

• Assist clients in developing and maintaining professional networks.

• Provide guidance on career-related topics, such as job market trends, salary negotiation, and career advancement.

• Maintain accurate records of client progress and services provided.

• Participate in professional development activities to stay current on career trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.

• At least two years of experience in career counseling or related field.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of career development theories and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
