Position: Assistant Traffic Controller
Location: Burbank, CA
Salary: $23 – $25 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Traffic Controller to join our team in Burbank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of traffic in and around the city, ensuring that all vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control traffic flow in the city, ensuring that all vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
• Direct traffic at intersections, construction sites, and other areas where traffic is congested.
• Monitor traffic signals and adjust timing as needed to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents, and direct traffic accordingly.
• Maintain records of traffic violations and other incidents.
• Provide assistance to pedestrians and motorists.
• Report any traffic-related issues to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in traffic control or a related field.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
