Assistant to the City Clerk
Job Summary:
The Assistant to the City Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the City Clerk and other departments within the City of Lynwood. The Assistant to the City Clerk will be responsible for maintaining records, preparing documents, and providing customer service to the public.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the City Clerk in the preparation of agendas, minutes, and other documents for City Council meetings.
• Maintain records of City Council meetings, including minutes, resolutions, and ordinances.
• Assist in the preparation of documents for public hearings and other meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of documents for elections, including voter registration and absentee ballots.
• Assist in the preparation of documents for public records requests.
