Assistant Buyer – Novelty Accessories
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team and help us source and purchase novelty accessories for our retail stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and selecting products, negotiating prices, and managing the purchasing process.
Job Responsibilities
• Research and identify potential suppliers of novelty accessories
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and order new products as needed
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate records of purchases
• Analyze market trends and identify new product opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Assist with other purchasing and administrative tasks as needed
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing or related field
• Knowledge of retail industry trends and products
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $24.00 to $28.84 /hour
