Asset Protection – Agent – West Covina Mall Rack

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Asset Protection Agent to join our team at the West Covina Mall Rack in West Covina, CA. The Asset Protection Agent will be responsible for protecting the store’s assets from theft and fraud. The Agent will monitor the store’s security systems, investigate suspicious activity, and apprehend shoplifters. The Agent will also provide customer service and ensure that the store is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor the store’s security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

• Investigate suspicious activity and apprehend shoplifters.

• Provide customer service and assist customers with inquiries.

• Ensure that the store is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.

• Prepare reports and document all incidents.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in asset protection or law enforcement.

• Knowledge of security systems and procedures.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

Compensation:

This position pays $22.05 – $22.95 an hour.
