Job Summary
The Academic Records Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Office of the Registrar in Azusa. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in the student information system.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to student records.
• Process student requests for transcripts, enrollment verifications, and other records.
• Assist with the registration process, including course scheduling and enrollment.
• Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff regarding student records.
• Assist with the maintenance of student records, including grade changes, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Assist with the preparation of reports and other documents related to student records.
• Assist with the maintenance of the office’s filing system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to student records.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
